With the help of Amazon, Saks Fifth Avenue is Purchasing Neiman Marcus

Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus have created Saks Global– a luxury department store owned by HBC. This $2.65 billion deal includes Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Saks Off 5th, and Bergdorf Goodman. Amazon is investing in the merger to innovate and potentially streamline logistics and eCommerce for Saks Global.

Albertsons to add Grubhub as a National Delivery Partner

Albertsons announced a national partnership with Grubhub on June 25. The partnership will bring home grocery delivery to nearly 1,800 stores across its banners, including Safeway, Vons, and Jewel-Osco. The newly forged partnership promises great benefits for both companies, boosting Albertsons’ digital presence and making shopping even more convenient for customers.  

Amazon to Launch New Marketplace to Compete with Temu, Shein, and AliExpress 

Amazon is launching a new marketplace to compete with Temu, Shein, and AliExpress, offering low-priced, unbranded goods shipped directly from China. This section within Amazon will feature unbranded fashion, home goods, and daily necessities priced under $20 and lighter than one pound. The products will be shipped directly from Chinese manufacturers/warehouses, and lead times for delivery will be 9-11 days without tariffs
