Employee Spotlight: Francesca Capecci, Sales Director (EU)

Reading time: 5 minutes

The Pacvue team blends a deep history of advertising and eCommerce expertise with a team of veterans from all over the globe. In this series, we will be spotlighting one of our newest employees leading sales for France, Italy, and Spain. Pacvue Sales Director, Francesca “Franci” Capecci answered a series of fun questions about her professional background, why she decided to join Pacvue, what it’s like to work here, and more.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you based out of? What’s your professional background? What’s your position at Pacvue?

I am Italian, but I studied and worked abroad most of my life. I speak Italian, French, English, and Spanish. I have more than five years of experience in advertising and sales, and I have been working on both the client side (at Nike) and the sales side (as a Senior Account Executive at Amazon Advertising FR). Almost three months ago my adventure in Pacvue started. I joined as a Sales Director for France, Italy, and Spain, and as Pacvue’s second European employee.

Tell us why you decided to join Pacvue, and why other European brands and sellers should use our ad tech to scale their businesses.

I loved my job in Amazon as well as my team. However, Pacvue was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I feel lucky of being among the first EU employees for a company that offers such great added values in campaigns management for its customers. I strongly believe in Pacvue’s products, and I wanted to be part of his growth as soon as European market opened!

Brands and sellers can often get overwhelmed and lost among all the retail media activations they are running. Pacvue ad tech is paving the way for their success by providing them with actionable insights to improve the performance of each € they invest.

How would you describe your job to a 5-year-old?

Hey kid, do you see this Pokemon billboard that has been displayed in front of your school for the past 6 months? I work with people that create a lot of new products and games that they would love to show you but unfortunately don’t know how, where, and when to do so. I will help them by making sure you see them all so as you can know what to ask Santa for Christmas.

What has your experience been with our company culture? What’s the most unique part about working here?

I work with goal-oriented leaders who trust me. Pacvue’s leadership encourages me, helps me to succeed every day and gives me time and flexibility to understand and innovate for my clients. This trust is what makes the difference as you can feel it from Day1.

What is working at Pacvue like?

I am the first French employee at Pacvue, working in this role has been as exciting as you would imagine. There are strong connections between all teams that leads to a great atmosphere and efficient process. I see this opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking company in a fast-moving industry, and I feel I can actually influence Pacvue’s success in Europe!

What do you like most about your job?

My job is so dynamic! I don’t have a typical business day… And this is exciting!

Every client is different, every agency has a unique approach with Sponsored Ads and I speak Italian, English and French almost every day at work!

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Pacvue, whose job would you want and why?

I would say I would like to be myself… In one/two years. With an extended sales team, I contributed to hiring and training others to help them be successful.

What are 3 words to describe working at Pacvue?

Collaborative, challenging, rewarding

What motivates you to get up and go to work?

I love my job! When you love what you do, you tend to feel a sense of purpose and belonging. Pacvue’s values align with my own and I feel valued for my contributions, so my working hours tend to pass by faster!

And no matter how much a day was hard, at the end of the working day I know what I can expect: a wine glass with friends, a gym class, or a dinner with my boyfriend.

What’s your favorite part about working at Pacvue?

My favorite part is that even if I work from home and most of my colleagues are in different time zones/ continents I feel included every day!

What’s the best advice to give anyone who wants to work at Pacvue?

To reach out to me or to one of my colleagues to know more! Pacvue is always looking for talents and high-motivated profiles!

Is there something that has made you smile recently?

Last night, I watched Sorrentino’s most recent movie (The hand of God). I smile every time I watch a good movie about Italy and his culture!
